SC61 trap speeds and psi level..?? DISSAPOINTED...!!
I jsut want to know how fast you guys w/ sc61's have trapped in the 1/4 , specifically at about 15-17 psi of boost...
I only managed to muster a best of 109 mph in my 4dr teg and am very very dissapointed.. my best ET of the day was a measely 13.0
my setup consisted of:
84 mm sleeved gsr
9:1 weisco pistons/eagle rods
JG IM
hondata s200b tuned to 17 psi on pump gas (350 hp 240 tq)
SC61, pte 600 hp FMIC
full 3" exhaust
2.5 charge piping
REV valve springs/retainers
MSD blaster2 coil
94 LS 4dr / full interior
(was running 24.5/8.5/15 MH slicks and 205/50/15 BFG DR's; ran better w / the bfg's GO figure..)
besides the weight of the 4dr, i dont know why i ran so bad, i'm so bummed too.. may just have to throw it in my hatch to see what it can do...

24.5" slicks are possibly too big for ur setup since u pulled a better time with the 205/50/15's which is comparable to a 23" slick

320whp @ 8.5 psi. pump gas
ran 11.40's @ 120-123mph all day in a hatch. 1.60's 60' all day. 24.5x8.5x13 MH slicks
this year:
83mm B18c
10.5:1 (fully built)
483whp @ 17 psi (20-22psi final, but AEBS head studs stretched) race gas

Same thing happened to me. At 18lbs/380whp with falken azenis street tires, i ran a 12.9 @ 118mph. 2 weeks later, i went to the track with c16 21lbs/445whp with 24.5-8-15 m/t slicks and ran 13s with a best of 112mph. This is a full interior 94 gsr. The tires seems to big, i felt the car husseling to move. Well, tonight i'm going back to the track with some 22-8-15, I will post the results when i get back.
someting just doesnt seem right because you should be trapping higher speeds and lower et's with all that ****, i dont care if it is a teg, i have seen a stock B20 with a 85 shot go faster on radials.......what are you launching at, how is it pulling on the low end, what tranny are you using and what gear are you crossing the clock in?

I bet that thing was not making anywhere close to 350whp.
350whp will land 118-120mph traps, even in the heavier integra body.

I had this setup:
stock USDM GSR block
stock b16 head
stock b16 tranny
1 bar springs sc61
I went 12.6@ 122 with a 2.1 60'
this was in a 93 del sol about 2500 lbs with me in it.

i went 118.7 mph with my sc61 @ 16 psi... 2.0 litre b18b block and head - 9.0:1 compression... i trapped 111 with my old t3-t4, at 15 psi... something definately seems wrong
I went 12.2 @ 122mph / 17psi, in BF's drag radials 205/50/15.
