i notice that i have a hard time getting into the reverse gear when i can get into 1to 5th gear just fine and now i have to press the clutch couple time to finally get the reverse gear in so i did fill in new tranny fluid in last month with honda MTF and i wonder why does this do that ?

 

**** mine does it too sometimes. i always put it in 2nd then revers and seems to go in alot better. people might say because you need a new clutch, but ive replaced my clutch and still have had that problem........ its sure its fine

 

heh yea it moves the car really quick and good so lol

 

Most hondas do that it is not a clutch problem, and fluid might have helped a little but the problem is most likely internal like a synchro problem. the best thing to do is move foward slightly and then try to put it into rev.

I always put it in 3rd real quick then down into reverse. Works every time.

Not a clutch problem, just a matter of the syncros not ever lining up right.
