SUSPENTION HELP!
i have a 2000 honda av6...now the problem is that i want a lower and tighter handling...
i was wondering if doing a eibach prokit would be fine WITHOUT getting new sets of struts...?
would it blow the struts on the long run?
any comments plz!

first off its suspension....
its best to upgrade both so that they complement each other. im sure you would be fine with the prokit and stock struts, but it would be best to just do the full upgrade. you'll have to do it eventually anyway!

your ride will not improve very much with only springs (it may even get worse). you are going to be much happier spending the extra money getting the shocks in the long run. and to more specifically answer your question, yes your shocks will wear out MUCH more quickly
eh. i never bother with all that lettering nonsense, youre probably right in saying that its a v6 because av6 sounds completely foreign, but honestly does it really matter for a question like this?
av6
accord v6, right?
well, who cares
prokit you can use it with stock shock, well, it said on the paper.
not much harsher than stock ride as far as ride comfort goes.
just a little bit stiffer and lower

The prokits only drop your car like 1.25" so you won't kill your strut that fast. It's not like your putting some springs on with a high spring rate and dropped 2". The prokits don't drop that far and because of the progressive spring rate the ride is comfortable. Yes, it would be ideal to upgrade both at the same time but you could get away with the stock struts. My totalled 95 Accord had Prokit springs and Tokico Blue struts, and they rode great. The suspension felt nice through the turn and was harsh on the crappy roads of Michigan. I like the springs and would recommend them to anyone looking for a close to stock feel, lower stance but not too low and a little tighter suspension.

just a suggestion, but you might not want to waste your 5 posts per day limit on posts like that. I don't think too many people are going to mind that he didn't add the ' in "it's".
