purge control solenoid?

Default purge control solenoid?

ok i just got a skunk2 manifold and i was putting it on today and it dosent have the little place in the corner to mount it and i know jdm engines dont have it. I was just wondering if I could disconnect it and not run it? Would that hurt performance or cause a cel just wondering thanks

your idling might fluctuate if you dont have it there or will throw a code. you can just zip tie it

i would just buy a longer length of vaccum hose and zip the the solenoid to the brake booster vaccum line or something. you could run w/o the entire charcoal canister setup by just simply capping off the connections on the tb and i/m

You can just not run it. It will be fine, unless you need to pass a visual test.

You'll fail smog and it will hurt your gas mileage. It's so easy to do, just do it right don't pollute the air.

ok guys bear with me im new at this, But i have a 95 civic 1.6L sohc vtec according to the Hayes manual what they called the purge control solenoid was located by the rear part of the throttle body which is also got a purge control solenoid sensor ??? Honda wants 130-150 dollars for a little sensor held in by a single phillips screw and is the size of a quarter. Anyone know where i can get that sensor for cheaper than that ??
