Default problem # 1,000

So my motor runs good (d15b), except for this one little problem. I noticed that my coolant tank likes to eat my coolant ( A LOT ). For example i filled the take 2 days before i took my car for an estimated 200 mile trip, now...there is no coolant left in the tank. My car has a code 14 for idle air control valve do you think this could be a problem at all? If anybody here has any information for me it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

~Jon~

your not supposed to put coolant in through there (techically you could but its not the purpose). Thats and overflow tank. Your car is low on coolant therefore is sucking it in through there. When the cars cold, open the rad cap, fill up, turn on the car and top off.

Will you get that new motor in and boost it already damnit. We need another boosted 4-door on H-T But check all your coolant levels. Run a compression test, and try swapping IACV's. IF your IACV starts going bad it will cause your idle to become irratic.
