Default need opinions on a good 2.5 inlet muffler

Im going with custom 2.5 inch piping on my ITR and i need a good deeping sound muffler, i was thinking N1 style but i think that might be a little to loud. Does anyone know of a good style muffler for my car. i plan on getting a casound high flow cat, and a 18 in resonator to go with the custom piping so i decent muffler shouldnt make it to ricey or loud.

magnaflow, straight through, good noise reduction, deep sound. I actually have a spare 2.5 in/out, brand new, bought from kteller's website. $80 shipped Pm me if you want it.

Was your piping a custom job? The welds look great. Also is that a SMSP header?

Hytech muffler. The twin-loop design is quiet and deep. It's expensive for just a muffler tho.

I don't think you are looking hard enough... I have a 2.5" inlet/outlet

http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/ss.htm

they have ovals and round bodies...

add orig.jpg to the url.

I painted mines flat black. I took that off of the hatch and put a ES oval on but honestly the quality of the ES oval is shitty. The oval is not even all the way through and the material is cheap.

Good thing I still have this muffler though because it will be going on my teg as soon as I add a JDM 4-1 OE ITR header and 2.5 piping.

Nope its a muffler, its designed like a resonator without the crappy baffles many companies use.

I use this, with 2.5 in mandrel piping, 2.5in carsound and its all straight through. Nice and deep through all rpms and its loud up top, the most sound actually hits you inside (due to my resonator placement) from the resonator absorbing the first wave of sound.
