Ground control
I am planing to buy Ground Control Coilovers for my 00 civic EX. I want to use them with stock shocks. But in future I am planing to buy Koni yellow. Someone told me that if I buy GC for stock shocks I can't use them for Koni yellow. Because All coilover kits are designed SPECIFICALLY for each shock manufacture.
Is it true.

4530.01 Civic/Del Sol (Limited Edition) 92-00 1,2,3,7,8,10
4530.02 Civic / Del Sol 92-00 4
4530.04 Civic 96-00 5
1. Stock, Sachs, Boge
2. Tokico Premium Performance
3. Tokico Illumina
4. Koni
5. Bilstein
6. Neuspeed Bilstein
7. KYB
8. KYB AGX
9. GAB R
10. GAB HP
So basically, if you buy the GC kit for a Koni shock, then your SOL on getting them to work with your stock shocks.
However, you can buy the GC set for the Tokico, KYB, or GAB and still be compatible with your stock units.
I purchased my GC's through NoLimitMotorsports. Good guy to deal with.
