Default HAVE A PROBLEM WITH A 90 DA

When i was on my way to work today, my car battery light was on, i was like thats funny, but then i started to drive, it was blinking and then the car started to die when i gased it. does anyone know what could be wrong?

Check all your battery and alternator connections to make sure they are tight and clean. Then check the battery and alternator with a multimeter. You should get ~12v across the terminals when the car is off, and ~14v when the car is on.

that is a straight alternator problem. had to change my alternator twice on my da. Same symptoms you are having is what i went through. New Alternator!!!!

Yup Sounds like alternator. The car slowly dies because when the alternator dies, the car draws power directly from the battery, then when the battry slowly dies so does the car. Had that **** happen in my CRX 3 friggin times
