I'm not exactly positive with the H series stuff but I know atleast with B the stock FPR cant handle the added flow so you will end up with a high fuel press. I would recomend getting a good FPR like AEM and a FP gauge so you are doing it blind. the vafc could also work but I think your idle will not be great. Also with the vafc you should probably atleast do the retuning on a dyno to get the same stock drivability you would achieve with FPR and gauge.

a vafc is a great thing to have but if you are keeping it stock for a while or you are not planning on dyno time, you should atleast get the FPR and gauge, that way your car will run way better. The best option is to get all of the above.

im torn between

aeromotive fpr for 300 w/ all the fuel lines ect
or
vafc + tuning

will it be ghetto just to use the vafc to lean it out

will it effect my idle ??

get a FPR
even with a VAFC your pump is still moving more fuel than the regulator can handle.

you dont need a 300$ FPR setup just get an adjustable one like AEM. more than adequate and still have money left for a VAFC.

I agree, at least an aem fpr, and b&m makes a nice gauge that mounts to the top of the fuel filter, for like 30 bucks. Well at least it's nice for 30 bucks.

kamin, can i mount the aem on my stock rail
i hear with the b&m it wont let me lower the fuel pressure enough

the aem will be good though ?

the problem with the vafc you really dont know how much to adjust, its inexact (without a wideband and a dyno)

the b+m FPR only modifies your stock one so it wont solve your problem, get an AEM along with a gauge, thats what I have and its great
