Nope, the head bolt pattern on 84-87 Civic/CRX engines is different from all other 88+ Civic/CRX engines. The dohc head from an 86-89 Integra D16A1 engine, or a dohc JDM (Japanese Domestic Market) ZC engine, has the same head bolt pattern as the D15A3 in your 87 Civic Si, but you will need to do a fair amount of custom fab work to bolt it on and make it run. It's a lot of work, but doable. If you are interested in trying, go to http://www.redpepperracing.com and search for "hydra". I think your best bet is to use another 85-87 Si head. That will save you a LOT of work.

No. The engine/tranny mounts on all 88+ Civics/CRXs are very different. The only engine/tranny swap that is easy and worthwhile for our cars is a D16A1 from an 86-89 Integra. You will also need the axles/hubs/spindles/ecu/front suspension/shift linkage/etc. The 86-87 models have vacuum advance ignition like your 87 Si and require very little wiring to swap them in. The 88-89 models have electronic advance ignition and will require more wiring, but they give you more options for tuning with a chipped ecu and a rom editor like uberdata.
http://www.redpepperracing.com is the best source of info for these swaps and for 1g CRXs in general. Go check them out and read the FAQ.
