Default How do i convert 2 Single wire o2 --> 1 Dual wire o2

I may be confused (most likely situation) but is this a difference in obd0 and obd1 or 2?

B16a1
I have 2 o2 sensors, both are single wire. How would I convert to 1 dual wire o2? Other than being able to use all the headers on the market besides the $400 Hasport, what would be my benefits to this conversion?

Do I need to change the distributor? ECU? Im reading up on all this now, but didnt find anything specific in my search.. just wondering if anyone had any knowledge on this.

Thanks H-T

what ecu are you using?

stick w/ the 2ea single wire o2's if you have a pr3 or pw0.

make your header look like this.

You make that mod yourself? I cant find any garages out here for welding that crap up. I have put off my purchase of a header to see what my options are...

Im not sure of the ECU, i havent looked.

You need to either drill a new bung in your header. Or do a OBD0 > OBD1 conversion which gets a little spendy but its worth it

Why is it worth it? What benefits do I gain by doing the conversion? More control over a/f? More hp? Sell me!

Ill read up if you dont want to answer all that, im sure the question has been asked before
