Default Need help wiring a 00 nonvtec sohc harness for a 96 JDM b16 motor (obd2?)

A usdm motor is not really a option so i have to work with what i have... i believe a JDM b16 motor is obd2, and the 00 usdm non vtec sohc motor is obd3( or hte new obd2)? what would i need to make this as clean as possible? a 96-98 ex harness? I dont think i can use my stock harness? would it be easier to get a jdm 99-00 motor, so I wouldnt have the spend the money onthe extra harness and just spend it on the new motor? Or would i still need a 00 si harness?

just reuse your old harness and add wires and replug where there is missing or totally different plugs...

also 99-00 sohc vtec and si/sir coupe harness is the closests...
