No clue.. Alarm rang i went out and what ever hit me was already gone. Body shop and cops guessed it was hit by a delievery truck. They think it was maybe the metal step they got on the back... Shrug fixing it myself, would probably turn out looking liek crap.

Couldn't you buy a new quarter panel for under $200 and paint it for $100? Just un bolt the old one and stick on the new one. Might be a way to save some cash man.

P.s. **** PEOPLE WHO DO THIS TO PEOPLE.

I saw a fat bitch bump the cars on both side of her well she was parallel parking. I just had to start screaming at her when she walked away with some Tacobell with out even looking at the damage done.

Its the rear quarter panel. Has to be cut and welded back on. Beyond anything i could do... I am just hoping they can bang it out and patch it up nicely. Good thing is it is garrantied as long as i own car. Which will be awhile since i just got it.

And yeah ppl who disrespect other peoples property suck. Some ppl shouldn't be allowed to drive.

First prob id pull it out and fix it. To cut a Quarter panel out is alot of work and u also open up all the seams and in MTL they use alot solt and sand and after a winter or two that car will be rusting like crap.

Exactly what guy at body shop told me. Said to cut out panel and replace would lead to rust casue of all the salt and stuff... Said best would be to pop out dent and fill in the small hole.. they seem to do really great work at this place.

for that I would bondo and prime it, which is mad easy, definately not worth 1k
its a civic, which is a relatively cheap car, don't even waste it, you will notice the difference when your premiums go up, even if it was a hit and run because you are using your insurance to pay for the damages, thus higher costs for insurance.

exactly. Theres no need to cut and reweld. Bondo will fill in the dents and will me sanded down to make flush with the rest of the car.
