What I use is JB Industro Weld. If your dad has a welder, then just use that on the exhaust.

Yeah, if your dad's a welder.. might as well have him weld it up for you.

yea we tried but theres a few leaks...

its kinda dirty rusty..so we cleaned it and then grinded some of teh **** away and he welded .. but maybe ill try this jb weld stuff.

im gonna take the whole exhaust off the car.. and take off the resignator and weld a straight pipe on there. does anyone know how that will sound. its a greddy cat back.

im also gonna sand the whole thing down.. paint it all black and repolish the muffler.

I wouldn't take out the resonator...it will be loud and raspy. Why do you want to paint the piping black and still polish the muffler? <- Not knockin it just wondering.

cuz its old and grey looking. i just want to seal the pipe from rust and ****. not really worried about the looks end of it. as for the muffler and tip or whatever it looks nice all polished up.. if i had a full polished exhaust that u could see through my rims that would be a diff. story. what do u think i should do?

I think you should do what you want. What I would do is.... sand down the piping and possibly the muffler (depending if I liked the look of it or not). Make sure that ALL the rust is gone by taking a grinder to it, then weld it back up so there isn't any holes or rust. Sand it down again and paint it with hi-temp paint. You might want to think about shortening some of the hangers too since you have a welder at hand, that way you wont scrape so much.

yea shorting some of the hangers is on my list of stuff to do and especially where the tip comes out becuase it doesnt come out straight...a little crooked(spelling?)
my car sits very low though but i guess that would help a bit.
