Hatch Rattle how would I fix this?
I think its either the window or the latch. I think that my subs might have helped casue this. Has any one else had this problem and if so how did you fix it?
A hatch rattles becasue it is loose and needs to be latched more tightly.
There are two ways to fix a rattleing hatch:
On the corners of the hatch are a pair of rubber bumper thingys. They are adjustable height so slightly unscrewing them will make them taller and hold the hatch tighter.
Or, you can mount the latch slightly lower in the body. Remove the latch and put a pair of thin washers between the latch and the body. This will effectively make the lact lower and hold the hatch tighter.

Well the rubber bumper's are unscrewed as much as possable and that did not help. Today I will try the electric tape idea. If the electric tape idea works is there a more perment solution?
If it keeps rattling I will blow up the inside for sure. ( For sum reason I found this suggestion very funny. )

My hatch rattled to all hell... and I tried all of the above, then got new gas lifts for it and never heard another squeak. Of course they were totally shot too. But it's something I would look into.

Actually... take off the latch and remove the brass colored washers underneath...
it makes the hatch a little harder to close but it holds it tight...
i used to have the same problem...
