I been having problems with my car, i seen int he past month or 2 that my car has been blowing dark smoke and my car seems to have slow take offs. And slow at long run in the past i had nitrus. Is this why car got slow because ever since i had nitrus its been blowing that dark smock i checked the spark plug and it was all messed up so i replaced it but no improvements. please help i have a civic SI 2000 with basic bolt on's.

well i was running a 45 shoot and the spark plugs are really bad ill try to get some pics

 

same thing happened in my 95 gsr.. then my block went bye bye and had to rebuild..

proably possilbity burnt your exhaust valves badly.

yea like others say, show pics of your plugs. btw did you run proper setup with nitrous? 1 step cold plug? or did you just mount that nitrous kit on and go?

 

should i go with a differnt block or do the port and polishe to my b16 do you think that theres some thing wrong with my motor that i should be really worried about becouse every time that i im in gear and i drop it to a lower gear thats when you can a lot of black smock.

 

no i followed all the instructions, my car was always warm and a my friend knows how to install nitrus so he help me out because my first time running with nitrus was great i had good reaction times and my time was great in a month it was all mest up

 

ya your friend doesnt know anything lol (j/k) did you just use the stock spark plugs when you ran nitrious...

 

and did you retard the timing? plugs? stock fuel pressure or got fpr on it? proper jet settings? (you sure you have jets in? hehe j/p)

well i have nology wires with denso iridium plugs they work really good but i want to know if theres some thing wrong with the inside of my motor i need it to be running good again becouse i want to do a big Honda SI meating here in cali i want to see how many people i can get down here to cruise and have i big BBQ.

make sure ur at the back of the cruise so u dont get black smoke all over everyone else

anyways watch for fried rings if ur block goes
when i was in ur situation and i did ls/vtec after.. my head was fine.

but as everyone has said check ur timing, plugs, jets.

i had a zex kit, zex plugs, stock timing, and 55shot jets when mine shitted on me.. it was never tuned on me

 

well i know that my timing is off and my plugs are good the jets where ok to so i think that has to do with some thing in the inside i would like to know what i have to replace in the inside would port and polish help so i can put nos on my car again.

what jets are u using? ur timing should be stock if ur using 50/55 shot

and im 99% sure its nothing wrong with ur head, cuz my head was a'ok when it went onto my ls block. so a p&p will not fix ur problem

 

well i want to know why its blowing out all that black smock some of my friends said that its really bad that i need to do some thing about it do i need to clean out the inside of my motor what should i do.

well why dont you take your engine apart then and look? It seems like your pretty set on it being something inside ur engine (which it could be). We told you what u need to do, if you think its something in the engine take it apart and fix it.

You keep askin the same question over and over and every answer you get you shoot down and say "i think its something inside my engine". WELL THEN take it apart and find out, there is that the answer you were lookin for?
