fuel pump and turn signal?
my walboro fuel pump restarts when i use my turn signal. i pulled the fuse for the turn signal and the car runs fine. Any suggestions on what i should do? i got my car back from the shop from a motor rebuild 2 months ago and this prolem just came up two days ago. the shop owner advised me to take it back to a stereo shop because he thinks its my alarm thats causing it.
it sounds to me like they might have crossed a few wires. maybe even a short. there is also the possibilty of an arc in your wires causing a short.

yep, that's what I suspect too. If you're running a big mean stereo system where high current wires are running near or on your high flow fuel pump, there's a chance it could cause interference. But what's strange is that does the problem arise only when your turn signal is on? It's gotta be a wiring issue.
