so my car just died the other day after i drove over a gutter.. been trying to diagnose it for a while and i found out it was a short in the yellow black wires from the main relay to the ecu.. however in the process i replaced the fuel pump with a walbro 255 lph pump.. before i fixed the short i would blow the ecu underhood fuse and the pump wouldnt prime.. now that ive fixed the wires it primes (makes the 2 second pumping noise from the tank) but once i try to start the car the engine still just turns and wont start... and the pump sounds like its trying to re prime again.. even after i stop trying to crank the engine it makes alot of noise for a second.. any ideas whats wrong?

Open the fuel line after fuel filter and turn the ignition "ON"(prime) see if you getting fuel there. I would double check the spark
