APEXi WS2 exhaust flange hitting heat shield
like the title says. I just installed my WS2 catback exhaust and one of the flanges are hitting the heat sheild thats under the feat area in the back seat. I was thinking of either bend the shield out of the way alittle or putting a piece of radiator house there to cut down or eliminate the vibration. It vibrates pretty bad while at idle and you can feel it a little when accelerating. If anyone else has had this problem what did you do to fix it? TIA
I just installed my friends apex ws2 on his 99 civic coupe and he has the same rattle problem just at idle. Not sure what it is because I haven't had time to jump underneath the car, but it sure is annoying. I'll let you know if I figure anything out.
On mine, the exhaust flange in the area below the back seat feet area is touching the driver side of the heat shield.
Should I bend the heat shield just enough to get it out of the way or should I put a piece of radiator house or other type of buffer to cut down on the vibration. Is there a down side to bending the heat shield? Would the radiator house handle the heat?
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

The car gets warm enough with no AC, I don't want to do anything that will add more heat. Thanks for the suggestion anyway. Any more ideas?
