figures right. anyway, at the summer sport compact summer slam from the grass parking lot my civic decided to run away from me. the ****** thing wasnt even boosted for 1000 miles and i still owe money on the turbo ****. if anyone in/around the central jersey/nyc area sees or comes across any of these parts being sold or the car itself, please pm me.

Damn that sucks...you think E-town would do something to deter ALL this theft that happens there.

 

Sorry to hear mang. I got my car stolen like a week and a half ago, then they found it the next day stripped. They decided not to call me, so I had to wait a week to get the paper in the mail and pay $368 to get it out.

Please tell me you had comprehensive insurance on it.

im looking at my insurance statement right now. i have damage to my auto other than collision, collision, full glass, towing and labor, increased transportation. as far as i know i had comp. and full coverage on the civic, but it doesnt say i have theft. do i need theft insurance, or is that ususally covered under damage other then collision or something? ill call my ins. company right when they open tomorrow.

the whole incident was soo surreal that i like wasnt phased. we walked around the lot and my friends were like i cant find your car, and i was like.....thats cause its not here. oh, should i try to get reinmbursement for the turbo setup? i have paypal reciepts and **** for almost all of it, but then if i do isnt there a chance the insurance company will yell at me cause i mad the car faster or highly modified it and didnt tell them?

 

Lemme just do the tally: You didn't have any security work, you aren't sure if you have the proper insurance, and you parked in the unattended lot of a well-known thief buffet (Etown)... and you're not sure why your Civic got robbed?

no no, i have comprehensive, i just dont know if that covers theft. and im not saying im suprised my civic got jacked. (which is sad in itself)

 

suck man i hope you get your car back. it sucks you put so much time and hard work into your car just to have it stolen. theives are gay

yea i know. 6 months of buying parts and 3 weeks of install just for the turbo. all i can do now is wait and see how the insurance company handles this.
