there is really not much to it brotha. if you have done one clutch you can do em all. resurface the flywheel always no matter what, always change throwout bearing and the pilot bearing too. when installing pressure plate do not tighten down all the way. go one turn at a time all the way around so you dont warp the plate. flywheel bolts in star pattern word of advice while you have the tranny out replace rear main seal.. anything you need help with ask ill be more than happy

This is a pretty easy how to...let's see if I remember:

1. Loosen both front Axle Nuts...these are the huge nuts in the center of the brake rotor.

2. Set the e- brake, disconnect the battery and lift the front end of the car a ways (you'll be pulling the transmission out through the bottom of the car, so you'll want to be generous with the height). Make sure the car is secure!

3. Pull both the front wheels off, then look under the brake rotor for a ball joint with a castle nut and remove them. Remove both axle nuts, and twist bothe spindles clear of the axles (Lift up on the brake rotor to dislodge the ball joint, a hammer may be necesary for this. After the ball joint is out, simply pull towards you slightly and rotate towards the rear of vehicle until the axle slides out.

4. Drain the trasmission fluid, then get under the car and remove both axles from the transmission housing. Easiest way to do this is to gently pry between the transmission and the axles until they separate, then pull out completely.

5. Remove both armatures for the shift linkage. One uses a clip and thrust pin which need to be removed. The other uses a nut and bolt. Disconnect both these from the transmission side is possible (This makes re-installation much easier!)

6. Disconnect the starter and remove from the transmission housing.

7. Support the transmission with a jack and remove all the bolts to the mounts holding it into the car. Then, with the transmission fully supported, remove the bolts joining the transmission housing to the engine block.

8. Carefully pull the transmission from the engine block. Avoid putting undue stress on the input shaft inside the transmission; the tranny should be pulled off relatively straight in-line to the engine. Lower the transmission. (If lowering the transmission is difficult, you can remove the crossbar which runs from the LCA to the Front crossmember on the passenger side, this should make things easier).

9. Carefully unbolt and remove the pressure plate, clutch disc, and flywheel (These REQUIRE a 10mm and 17mm 12-point socket! Do not attempt with 6 point tools!). Inspect the transmission housing, input shaft, pressure plate, disc, pilot bearing, throw-out bearing, and flywheel for wear and any signs of trouble. Always replace both the pilot and throw-out bearings and have the flywheel resurfaced. Also, when removing and reinstalling the pressure plate and flywheel, always tighten in a star pattern. When installing the new disc and pressure plate, use the appropriate alignment tool to insure proper seating.

10. Reinstall Transmission, installation is reverse of removal. Dont forget to put both axles back in before putting tranny fluid in. My recomendation for tranny fluid woulf be GM Syncromesh....works great.

Hope that helps! If you need more help, let me know.
