Evasive Motorsports for $35 shipped. Get a $15 Energy Suspension shifter bushings and you're good to go.

http://www.evasivemotorsports.com

Search under "evasivemotorsports" under EG+ Forum and a review will come up.

I'll vote for the evasivemotorsports shifter too. I've got one in my car and love it. Heavy as crap when its out of the car as well.

Honestly I just compared it to my mom's 2003 Civic and they look about the same size. If you tell me exactly what answer you're looking for I'll be glad to check on it for you. Also, my Del Sol is the first 5 spd I've owned so can't really compare it to other cars since I haven't had other 5 spds.

I have the b&m shifter with the sealed billet bearing mount, and energy suspension shifter bushings. I love the set up. The shifter was about 130 bucks, and the bushings were 10 or so. It was a bit pricey but the throw is unbeleiveably short, and the bushings stiffen everything up nice. b&m

I can't believe nobody has said anything about the Skunk2 shifter. I have it and love it. Installed it with the Skunk2 **** and the ES bushing. Tight and short shifts. I understand the cost but it was well worth the investment.

I have a skunk 2 short shifter on my eg, really tight shifts, i like it though. I think i dont like was at first was going from fourth to fifth, may result in a misshift if ur not accurate. Otherwise, skunk 2 short shifter is great. Good luck man

A friend cut and welded mine. It's been nearly 10 years and it's held up great.

I also have a Skunk2 with ES bushings. Awesome, I love it a lot more than my previous setup: stock ITR shifter with OEM rubber bushings.

I've also been recommended the C's shifter. They say the ITR guys go crazy over them.

Edit: I found some info on it

For a 6th gen civic, shifter is simple as anything. Ebay, 13$. Aluminum, abec 5 bearings, good quality. Its a stick, itll do half the shift, do not spend over 20$, I don't know why a DC stick is 120$, seriously. Its a stick with threads, theres the ball joint that you grease with a molybdenum compound, and a bolt that holds it to the shift rods via ball bearings which i think are better than the stock rubber seals, which are more like ABS plastic.

there IS a diference between the 20 dollar ebay shifters and dc/skunk2/ and b&m. The 20 dollar ebay shifters are aluminum and unbalenced, the more expensive shifters are usually stainless steel and balanced.Mine was a 140 bucks, but it came with a sealed billet aluminum bearing mount(like I said before), it was well worth it. find a 20 ebay shifter that has that. You can't compare ebay quality with skunk2/dc/b&m

Well, the DC Sports is actually aluminum, which is why a lot of people complain it has snapped on them. I, however, used one for two years of HARD driving (while turbocharged) and had no problems whatsoever. Mine was only like $100, which isn't too bad. The Skunk2, which a lot of people seem to recommend, is steel and supposed to hold up to abuse much better. It definitely looks like a quality piece, but I've never tried it, just my old DC Sports shifter. Right now I'm back to stock with Prothane bushings and absolutely love it.
