Default Import Builders Package 2 Motor

Jeff at Import Builders offers a completely rebuild LS/VTEC motor. Has anyone purchased this motor? If so let me know, i'm interested in what you think of it. Or even if you don't have it, but know of it, what are your non-ownership impressions of it?

Rod: Don't get me wrong, what people have said about Jeff is very favorable, and from my conversations with him, he seems to be very knowledgable about what hes doing, but to buy an engine, it isn't couch change. I need to make sure this engine isn't going to blow on the way home.

This engine is trackable?

Hey I understand man. I'm actually swapping at Import Builders soon...and know engines cost a pretty penny. But if ur looking for a guarantee that an engine will not blow...good luck. Most places I think give you a startup warranty. Good luck.

Just checked Jeff`s page..that`s a pretty serious setup and it`s gonna cost you a pretty penny. Honestly, if you are going to roadrace, I `d get something cheaper and concentrate on susp and brakes.

I'd use it as a daily driver, and an autox and road course vehicle.

I think you`d be happy going straight b18c..just my opinion. It`s cheaper and you`ll have some extra cash to beef-up your wimpy civic susp & brakes. You can always build it later..
