how to attach fuel pressure gauge to fuel rail?
I am planning on attaching a fuel pressure gauge to my jdm b16. I am currently planning on taking the cap off of the end of the fuel rail, drilling and tapping it. Then I plan to put a stainless elbow into the cap and attach the gauge. Is this how you guys are doing this, or is there a better way?
Thanks for the help
PS. I don't want to buy a new fuel rail.

I went ahead and attached it to the stock fuel rail.
I unbolted the cap from the rail.
Tig welded a block of aluminum to the cap to give it extra strength.
Drilled, tapped, and attached an elbow to it.
Threaded on my $20 Jegs oil filled FPG.
Works great, easy to read.
I am very happy with this set up.

So what you are saying is that I should have spent more money and put it in a position that is harder to see, just because most everyone else done it that way.
If everyone had that opinion we would never make any advancements.
Fact is I already finished the job, so you posting that I should get the B and M is totally meeningless.

its nice to see people that still have a mind of their own and can fabricate things instead of just "buying a piece to make it work"
I would've just drilled and tapped my fuel rail for my gauge, but i got a good deal on an aftermarket fuel rail with a gauge port and accessory fuel port on the end so now i have my fuel pressure gauge and my nitrous' fuel solenoid feed line hooked to my fuel rail..
