Default How to keep Fuel Pressure gauge w/inline fuel filter?

I screwed up my fuel line so I've got to run an inline fuel filter now, but I cannot figure out how to keep the fuel pressure gauge with it.

I've seen people with the gauge directly on the fuel rail...how would I do that?

i bought my b&m gauge from inlinefour.com and just screwed it right onto my aem fuel rail. used a little teflon of course and it works mint.

except, dont take it thru those high pressure car washes that to the underside of your car.

i made that mistake and now the plastic/glass cover is gone. lol

god i wish my car didnt suck

well I can' screw it directly into the fuel rail because stock there's already a threaded stud sticking out of the fuel rail.

Is that removeable? If so, then that's all I need to know, otherwise, I've got no clue.

oh, i'm not sure about the stock unit i just flung mine across the garage. lol. speaking of fuel rail, i need to go find some nuts for the top two studs that go thru the back.

Well if you've got your stock one out and won't be out anything if it doesn't, why don't you try to take the stud out of it before I possibly ruin mine?

just a suggestion .... i don't know where your running the fuel filter from BUT .... just hollow out your old stock one and put it back in the same spot along with the fuel pressure gauge

I'm not exactly sure what you're suggesting, but reading what you said I think maybe I can just replace the bad section of fuel line, and keep the stock filter and everything.

What do you think? Just replace like a 3-4" section with rubber fuel line hose and clamp it down really good.

The section from the fuel line that goes up against the firewall to the entrance of the fuel filter. The section from the output of the filter to the fuel rail is just fine.

The AEM fuel rail has a port that is a direct fit for the B&M gauge (1/8" NPT)
