Default wierd motor buildup problem (d16y8)

ok modacar got the block back from AEBS on monday . and they informed them that the pistons stuck up 2 thousands above the deck , no problem we will just get a cometic custom , they ordered a 54 thousands to be safe and it came in today . but its still looking close. from what ive heard from very reputalble sources is that its more than normal for d series pistons to do this . casey is going to clay the motor in a few min to make sure its going to be safe . but what about compression , these are supposed to be 9.0:1 pistons. any ideas?

sounds to me alot was taken off the deck surface i know on a b series the pistons are around 12 thousands in the bore, and your compression will be higher also.
