You really should have someone else do this. If you couldnt understand the page he posted your kinda fubared on this...17-.22mm is the width of feeler gauge you need to use. Then look at the pic, it shows you where to put the gauge.

yes, .17 to .22 mm or .007- .009in. just find your feeler gauge, use a size in between, such as .008 in or .20mm. good middle of the road. These numbers just mean that they can be as loose as .22mm(.009in) and as tight as .17mm(.007in)
Remember, that's for the intake side
the exhaust side is .22-.27mm(.009-.011in) so use something in the middle of the road like .25mm or .010in
Follow the instructions, it's very simple.
just loosen the lock with a 10mm, hold the loose nut in place, with a flathead screwdriver, turn the screw to make it more tight or more loose until you can slide the feeler gauge in and out with slight drag, then while holding the screw in place with a screwdriver, tighten the 10mm bolt. do that for each one. should be simple. You'll be amazed at the simplicity after you do your first one.
don't forget to line up the timing marks as listed. there's a second page to that helms page that shows where the timing marks should be and for which cyl to adjust. I don't have the time to find it but if you do a good thorough search (including archives!) I'm sure you can find it. Check the FAQ section at the top of the crx forum, i think it might be in there.

Pic is in the sticky at the top of the page for piston order..........or in the pic provided in this thread, or you could pull the spark plug and just find out what TDC center is with something like a screwdriver.
Piston order is firing order. 1-3-4-2.
Easy way to tell when ur at the right spot other than the fist cylinder when ur at TDC, is pull spark plugs, put long screwdriver in hole of cyl ur doin, move crank and watch for the screwdriver to be at its top most point for that cylinder in the firing order. Valve adjustment is childs play. Its hard the first time cus ur new, after that its a breeze.
