Default anybody w/d16 w/3" dp and ac

i want to put 3" downpipe and still keep ac.do you think if i had the hotside on the passenger side and the compressor on the driver side would that work and can you even do it that way?if anyboy has a 3" dp with ac still in can you please post a picture so i can get a good ideal.

hopefully this will be going in some time this month and this is my only prob so i really need some help on this

i've got a 2.5" dp and ac. i have room to do 3 inch still. just put the compressor on the a/c side. you'll have to move your condensor fan to the front and twist the turbo to clear the a/c (adapterplate will be necessary). you will have a limit as to how big a turbo you use, but on a d-series i assume you have a properly sized turbo for streetability. i use a td04L off '02 wrx.
