EGT probe install in Greddy Manifold
Hello,
I dont mean this to be a question but just I idea I had. I want to install a EGT gauge on my Greddy manifold that came with my 18G turbo kit. I have the manifold unbolted from the block so its basically ready to be pulled off. I have did some searches on tapping the hole for the bung and alot of people have said remove the manifold from the turbo. One problem about the Greddy manifold is its such a major pain the *** to get to the bolts that attach under the manifold itself. I was curious if there would be a way of sticking a vaccum hose in the #3 runner that I were to drill. While the manifold is pulled away from the block. Would anyone think this might be a good idea? Or should I try to take off the manifold itself? Those bolts are bitch

Leave the manifold on the block and just drill into the cast iron. Start the car as soon as your through the mainfold so that the sheddings could blow out the hole you drilled or just use a air compressor and air it out.
Hope that helps
