Default Vtec question...

ok this might sound stupied but is there I-VTEC on the base RSX auto 2004?
the sales man at acura dealer say it have VTEC...is this true? i know the motor says I VTEC....

it has vtec but, it has a more economical vtec not the og one.

the base has vtec but as said before, it's not for performance. on base vtec, below 2200 rpm's, only 1 of the 2 intake valves opens.

essentially, it's similar to VTEC-E found in the old Civic EXs.

Designed for economy like the others stated.
