what proportioning valve came on the 98' gsr

what proportioning valve came on the 98' gsr
i am doing rear discs on my eg and and i pulled the prop. valve off of a 98' gsr. that model came with rear discs but my prop vale is not stamed 4040. will it still work?

if theyre off the same car, i couldnt think of any reason why it wouldnt work. i know on 96+ civics, their prop valves didnt have 4040, 3030 stamped on them either.
