temporary rear disc EG brake swap without 40/40 prop valve...
Can i get away with installing my rear EG disc brake swap for now without installing a 40/40- prop valve?
Will the brakes work with my stock prop valve?

Re: (Richard...)
Seems to be fine......
I wonder why everyone says you have to change the prop valve then.....
I have been sitting on these disc brakes for 3 months now because I thought I needed to change the prop valve...
Going to install them today...
Thanks everyone for your input.

Its not that its going to be a problem if you don't install the proportioning valve when you do the swap, because it is not necessary. I am currently running my rear discs with my stock prop valve with no problems. Its just that your just not going to be getting the full potential out of your rear disc setup if you keep your stock prop valve.
