I've seen $860 (not sure on s/h) and $880 shipped. I'm sure that's a more realistic ball park.

tein is alway known to be a better brand. Japanese brand compared to something made in taiwan. you make the choice.

i know you deal with alot of badass product, but do you really think the omni's are that bad? not sure if youve seen them in real life or not, but they are tough. you probably know who designs them so i wont get into that

tein is way overrated, and I can't see myself ever buying another product from them. After having time to chat with them at SEMA, and seeing that they had absolutely no ******* clue that they didn't have a specific application of their S-Tech springs for the EP3 Civic. I asked about it and they all looked at each other like "wtf?" Instead of addressing that concern, they just decided to show me their Super EDFC and try to wow me with that and a picture with some ugly japanese chick.
I get a kick out of people who think that the country where something is manufactured has ANY bearing on the quality of the product. Last I checked, parts like these are robotically manufactured, so they aren't necessarily being pieced together by the skilled hands of some Japanese worker, nor are they being poorly assembled by some Taiwanese worker. Either way, Tein seems to be the name people trust, and that reputation seems a bit exaggerated to me.

There's so many different levels of Tein that it's hard to generalise.
The Tein Basic is really quite cheap sometimes, and you get what you pay for. Some the the cheap DC2 Tein Basic have actually been known to rust rather badly.
On the other hand, the top of the line racing Tein suspensions seem to be able to hold their own with the best from any other brand.

I hope I can get TEIN SS under $1000.</TD></TR></TABLE>
well, holidays are coming in soon. specials roll in left and right. last year the basics were going for 600-700 from various sponsors, maybe they'll sell the SS with better pricing this time. i doubt they'll go for under 1k. lowest i've seen is 1200. good luck.
