poll: zeal function basics or tein ss?
can anyone give me anymore detail on the function basics? they seem to be in the same price range...zeal's website says the function basics have fixed rate dampering. does that mean can't adjust the shocks or what? i'm sure you can..but looking for opinions on both systems...or anything better under 1000 dollar price range

I don't have experience with Tein SS but I had a set of HA for my Accord and using a set of HA for my civic, I just love them
I also owned a set of Zeal basic for my civic a yr ago, don't like them, for some reason there were loud metal hitting metal noise coming from rear whenever I drove over bumps. One of the front dampers blown, leaking oil.
That's just my experience.

Can you adjust the basics???
What is the spring rate of the Basics??
What is the price???
Answer those ?'s and you should have your answer.

JIC FLT-A2's are overkill for over 70% of the cars here anyway
