Ok, I got cheap and bought napa bearings to see how they would spec out. .0015 all the way across ( all 5 mains ) I'm just wondering if these are ok to use. the ones i have are teflon coated. I honestly dont see why this would be a problem, i have rebuilt many engines but always used honda bearings, so, if someone has used them or has had friends that have, could you tell me how that went.. and if you have not, don't reply, i dont want your guess.
Thanks alot
Josh

Who makes them. I seriously doubt that napa makes thier own. Maybe sealed power(michigan, federal mogul, whatever you want to call them). Also what kind are they(what are they made out of).

but they did all spec out perfectly ( .0015 with plastigauge)

I looked into some bearing from Napa before to. The ones I was going to get were a Tri-Metal bearing just like stock, so assuming that's what you have you should be okay.
Napa uses Fedaral Mogul Tri-metal teflon coated bearings. They are plenty relible. I just installed some on my LS when i had to change rod bolts. I dog the **** out of my engine and never have any problems with it. they work like a charm
