Default Review: Rotora rotors and pads

Hey guys. I recently needed to change my brake rotors and pads. I was using the OEM rotors and pads and wasn't very pleased at the performance and the longevity. I am a heavy braker and I somewhat abuse my brakes. I decided to go with something that would be able to endure my heavy and hard braking so I went with Rotora rotors and Axxis Ultimate brake pads. They were a little cheaper than the Powerstops so I went with the Rotora. After I replaced them (which was a B$(&%#), I immediately felt a great difference in grip. The Axxis Ultimates are some very good pads, they grip very well and they don't need a whole lot of heat to get them to grip. The only downpoint is that they dust a lot. It is very noticeable from the OEM's but I'm cool with it because it sure grabs a whole lot better. Also the rotors are great as they are very smooth and they are very hard to get hot. (Trust me I tried!) I think that this rotor and pad combo is a very good investment.

Sparknotes:
Pros: grip very well
looks pretty darn good
doesn't need a lot of heat to get them working
doesn't fade

Con: Dusts quite a bit

I paid $225 with tax and for the installation, I would recommend taking it to the shop because you need a press.

it's good stuff, rotora is based in southern california. but it seems no body know, it's started from a company in taiwan or something.

Axxis Ultimate brake pads is okay for street set up..i would personally go with colbalt's pad

and here some more idea and cool post to read
