Installing Trailer Wire Harness on '03 Accord
I bought a universal trailer wire harness from Napa auto parts, and I can't figure out how to install it. According to stuff I saw online, the factory connector should be by the rear left lights, inside the trunk. I opened that area and I see a bunch of wires but it's not clear to me what I put where.
Unfortunately this isn't one of those simple plug-n-play harnesses; On one end (I think the end that attaches to the car), it's just loose wires.
I'm hoping to leave by this wednesday so it's too late to order something online. I'm thinking I should try to buy a plug-n-play wiring harness (I think these are called T-Connectors??) and do that instead, but I'm not sure who would carry those locally (Seattle)--Napa and Schucks don't, and those are the major chains.
Sorry for rambling; any help is appreciated.
