On the LS/VTEC that I am building for a friend (B18A1 block and GSR head) There are 3 sensors on the back of the block by the oil filter. The Oil pressure switch which had a single male bullet connector. There are two more.

One has two male bullet connetors (pretty sure that this is the fan switch)
The other one has a green plug with two terminals.

can someone verify that I am right about the fan switch and tell me what the green plug is. The only integra manual that I have is for the OBD1 integra and it is different.

does anyone know? the only sensor that I could think of that it has the possibility to be is a knock sensor, but I did not think that the early LS engine had those. I am wiring it up right now and would hate to have to add more wires after I have already re-loomed the engine harness.

 

for sure its an ls block? I have an ls block and it only has the fan switch and oil pressure, no green plug!!?? Weird....cause the only other plug that would be back there is a knock sensor, but on a vtec block only, not ls, and the plugs are usually gray.

 

I am 100% positive that it is a B18A1. I guess I will just not wire to it since I have all of the important connections. Maybe some of the old ls blocks had a knock sensor?
