msd sci ignition with no rev limiter...can it be upgraded?
what do you mean "how useless"
that is the best way to find out if the system can be upgraded. In all honesty an external ignition is pointless especially when the honda ignition is plenty potent. Think about it, how many 10 second and below cars have upgraded ignitions.....not very many. A matter of fact the fastest all motor honda uses the stock integra gsr ignition coil.
also i do not see why you could not used the MSD external 2-step limiter...it goes inbetween the control wire and uses "pills" to control how high you engine revs

It was a simple and specific question. Didn't have to be an *** about it.
This question was for people who actually have the unit, not what your opinion was about it.

Well next time the server goes down because of overloading with USELESS threads like this one, YOU don't be an *** because you can't post legitimate questions on HT. He should have called MSD and asked them. PLAIN AND SIMPLE.
Would you call a GM guy to ask questions about your HONDA? Why, then, would you ask people how really don't know a question that could be answered by a MSD TECH!!!

The ECU won't have anything to do with the MSD Ignition Module accept when to fire it. The ECU will read the Pulse Rate of the injectors to see when to cut fuel.
