what are msd pills i was thinking about getting a msd 6al with cap and coil but first is the pill when the inginte of the msd happen like it starts and hads more spark and how long does it last?sorry if i dont make sense

the pill that goes on a msd 6al is just a resistor. for example: say you have a 6500 msd pill, you plug it in the msd 6al and now your car will redline at 6500. that's it. better yet put a 3000 pill in it and rev your car to 3000, it will hit the 3000 rev limit.

 

better yet..if u put a 3000 rev limit then how are u going to go past 3000 while driving>

hes just giving you an example. the pill acts as a rev limit.

for example on my car since I am running dual carbs, my honda ecu is no longer responsible for fuel, just spark. because the honda limiter is a fuel cut, i no longer have a "limit" so to speak. i use the msd 6al and a certain rpm pill to act as a rev limit now.

the pill acts as a cut off, so you'd want it where you'd normally want your redline, or fuel cut off, I assume.
