Default What size Azenis for 16"

I have 16" Rota Circuit 8's on my Sol right now. I want to pick up some Azenis, and they only make them in 205/55/16 & 215/45/16. Right now I'm currently running 215/40/16's on my car with no problems. The car is dropped 2.25" Front & 2.0" Rear. What size would be good so I won't have any fitment issues?

Yea their 16x7. That actually would prob be too wide for the Del Sol though, 215 is prob the widest I'm going to want to go. So if anybody can help me out, what size for the Azenis, 205/55/16 or 215/45/16?

I ran 215/45/16 for a while but they rubbed the inner fender well like crazy.

215/45. The 205/55s are way too tall.

What offset are your wheels?

225 is too much for 7" wide rims...

Get the 215/45/16 size. It's close enough to +1 from stock, and the extra width will do you good.

Yea the 215's should fit fine, unless Azenis are wider, because I currently have 215's on right now, but their 215/40. 215/45 should be able to fit just fine, its not dumped, i got a good 2 finger gap right now. 215/45/16's it is, thx again for the help.

i know my 205/40/16's on my sol are a hair smaller than stock. i know a 45 side wall will fit, as for the 215 im not sure. i would think so. i have the same drop as you too.

*edit* actually im a bit lower, 2.5/2.25

215 is the width of the tire, aka 215mm iirc. So, no, they arent "wider" than any other 215 series tire.

Azenis go for about $95 on http://www.victoriatire.com

Actually, they are. Azenis sizes run wider than what they are actually rated at.

205/50-15 Azenis are actually 219mm wide.
