its like this i have a 95 GSR with 96 spec ITR suspension on it. I'd like to replace the rotors with either crossed drilled or slotted rotors, but none of the american companies sell that spec rotors. Does anyone have an idea of where i can order rotors for this year suspension? thanks.
Are you replacing the rotors for looks or you actually want better performance? If you want better braking performance, you wont get it by getting slotted/drilled rotors. You'll get better braking performance with better pads and tires.
I think his sig might have something to do with it.
Funny, we were just discussing the pro's and More con's about this suspension/brake install on another post recently. Notice I didn't say upgrade, seems to limit your choices for wheels, rotors and is more of a fashion statement and a pita than it's worth since the brakes aren't Upgraded.
I don't have an answer other than finding a good JDM company to order the rotors from or possibly redrilling USDM rotors to fit, (but not even sure that will work for this application).
Good luck

It surely does. There's always a devil of a time trying to find wheels for the Honda Challenge Prelude, which uses the same bolt pattern.

thanks for the advice...i don't have a real good knowledge about brakes and pads, but if you can give me some advice on brake pads. So...do you suggest on resurfacing the rotors also when i get new brake pads? let me know the proper steps, sorry i would have known sooner, but i'm not in the states right now.

You can get new rotors from Advance Auto for under $25 each. Seems pointless to resurface.
Most of us wear them down until they're hopelessly grooved or we see heat fractures, and then put new ones on.
People can spend a fortune on fancy rotors but to most of us it's a normal wear item that there's no point in spending too much money on.

I "resurface" with 60 or 80 grit sandpaper.

Please do not tease, feed, annoy or otherwise blatantly confuse the noobies.

What RJ is doing when he does that is he's removing the buildup from those Carbotech pads he insists on using.

Easiest way to bed the Spec VR is to drive around w/the pads for a couple of weeks before going to the track.

Like the above posts say, I just changed rotors anytime they wear out or I go to a new compound. They are cheap ($50/pair). I really like Cobalt pads. Goto the link in my signature and check out their selection.

Aren't those rotors (96 ITR) the same or similar to a 4-lug Prelude's (or possibly Accord?)
Just a suggestion, but I was thinking something like maybe a 94-95 Prelude.
