i have a 1st gen b16 in my 91 crx. i switched to the P30 intake manifold and a 94 integra GSR throttle body. the GSR TB has the FITV mounted on the TB, instead of the old FITV attached to the manifold. i have bypassed the FITV on my new GSR TB and current setup . i have everything installed and connected and it runs with NO CEL; BUT IT IDLES AT 1500... PLEASE HELP. i have swapped MAP sensor, IACV, and adjusted TPS to 4.52 DC at closed throttle. please help

since then, i have tried spraying carb cleaner to the tb gasket and the manifold gasket but nothing really seemed to show signs of a leak. anyone please point me in the right direction

throttle cable too tight?

 

the throttle isnt the problem. i also adjusted the idle screw on the TB.

i am thinking it is a small leak somewhere. any other ideas


unless coolant must flow through the FITV/Throttle body. here is a pic of a 94 integra tb.

is that warm idle? what is cold idle?

 

cold 2000 and warm 15-1800. maybe i have to do the old FITV trick, open it and screw it in all the way?

 

YES it was the old FITV trick!!!! i was about to tear it all apart again and i tried one last thing and thats it. thanks for your help guys.
