Question for anybody using a GSR Throttle Body
I'm going to use either a Venom or Golden Eagle intake and niether has a throttle cable mount.I'm going to try and use a GSR TB that has a cable mount right on it.If your running this TB in your EF,what throttle cable did you use? and does the cable rub up against the hood?
This is a pic of the GSR TB I'm thinking about buying, sorry its upside down

I out a gsr t/b on my engine, I removed the throttle wheel and replaced it with one from an EX throttle body. WARNING this is a pain in the *** but and I recommend doing this in an area where you will not lose anything, eg. not in the engine bay. When changing the wheel, use the sohc return spring not the gsr as the wheels are clocked just a bit different.

did u not read his question, the whole reason he needs to know this is cause hes in the market for a aftermarket intake manifold which doesnt support the throttle cable on one of the runners like a factory style manifold would.
i usually use a 90-91 integra cable, or u can custom the cable to work by cutting a lil of the jacketing off at the pedal side of the cable for more length.

so the integra cable bolts right in without any mods, just want to be sure before I go out and buy one.

Well, since you know that the teg 94-00 will fit at the throttle body end, take off your crx one, and bring it to the parts shop. If the pedal side is the same, go with the whole 94-00 teg piece. My 2 cents. Ryan
looks liek the bracket would hit the hood cause the GSR manifold is so so so very much lower then a aftermarket one for a ef...
