ITR Stereo Weight?
I'm going to be removing the entire stock stereo system soon - head unit, speakers, wiring, etc. I'm jsut curious if anybody knows how much weight all of this adds up to.
I know it is very little and will not make a noticeable difference, but I am removing it for other reasons and was jsut curious.

I do a lot of install for buddies and I can give you a rough estimate my man.
Deck- 2 lbs
Speakers f&r - 2.5 lbs max depending on size
Wiring- 1 lbs if you take out harness too
Deck Support in dash - 3 oz.
Imo its not worth it, but like you said you have "other reasons"
Good Luck

6-8 lbs? I highly doubt that. They're 6" speakers, which I'm guessing a pound a speaker.
