working on 92 accord starting problem but also had same problem with other honda's
i'm stumped. starter has no signal
im one of the more experienced mechanics around but not perfect, so i don't need to be told to check the starter itself, solenoid,....blah blah blah so on.
turn the key to start and nothing
checked the clutch swith, neutral and park switches, starer relay and everything checks out ok.
turn the key and the relays to kick some of the electrical off like a/c, stereo so on works. umm....
checked main relay and jumped the i believe was a green/blk to 12 volts engine cranks when key is turned. take the jumper off and it doesn't work. not very professional to rig this. i've done 2 honda's like this so far by running a fusible link from the starter wire @ the ignition switch to the starter. it really stumps me that i cant figure out where the real problem exists....... i know someone out there has figured this out i havn't seen anything like this posted, been looking for hours. much help would be appreciated. thanks to the person who does tell me W.T.F. is wrong with this god forsaken problem.
