Smaller Amp Fuse cause problems?
My alternator isnt charging the battery, car is dead, just for *****, I look in the fuse box and in the alternator place is a smaller fuse like a 7.5 in a 10 or something along those lines.
Would this call my alternator not to work properly? I looked and it is spinning and the belt is moving even with the fuse the way it was.
Could this of caused my battery to die? I already bought an alternator, I was more or less just curious for future reference, I havent installed it yet, but maybe id charge the battery and test it.

Putting a lower amp fuse wouldnt damahe anything. The only thing that might happen is the fuse might blow under regular operation since it might not be able to handle the load.
