does CODE-9 have anything to do with how you wire up your distributor?
I just did and obd1 conversion. now my gsr ob1 p72 is flashing a code 9 (CYP)
If i missed matched some of the distributor clip-wires would it still start cause my car starts up fine.
although my distributor is fully advance... could that also trigger it?

if you miss wired the distributor the engine wouldnt run especially the cyp circuit. the cyp sends a signal to the ecu to help identify the no.1 cylinder wich in turn times the fuel injection and ignition. if you reset the ecu does the code come back?
