A few good questions for a few good men
Haha lol! well back to the topic at hand! I have a 95 Black Ls (yes its slow but i have so many plans to be fast) and its tan inside and i bought a bacl dash and door panels and soon seats but the roof of the car and rug of the car r tan. is it possible to paint them both and will the paint last on the rug? thanks
what the crap... don't paint your carpet. Why would you buy a "bacl" (black?) dash and door panels if you have a tan interior?
If you must make it all black then just buy new carpet and floor mats. Your rear seats are still going to be tan though

i'm not a man, but i'll answer your question anywayz
.......id try and find the roof from a junk yard, its actually gray though on the black interiors..... you can try and paint it w/vinyl paint, but you'll wanna take it off to do that anyways......as far as the carpet goes, depending on the shape that your carpet is in, you may want to buy new....or you can get this paint stuff that dyes the carpet, but if there's weird spots on the carpet, it might not take good in those spots.....i'm pretty sure the carpet dye will last pretty good if done correctly, but i dunno about the vinyl on the roof, if itll crack off after a while or anything wierd like that.

Id think that you would be better off going to a junk yard and finding black carpet and a gray roof. But if your really set on keeping what you have, use carpet dye, not paint for the carpet. It will last longer and look better IMO.
I have a 96 LS with tan interior and doing the black interior conversion as well. Behind the front seats I'm just stripping everything out.
I have the black door panels and arm rest. I have a dash on the way. Just need kick panels, the middle part of of the center console, glove box, and the seats and floor carpet.
I was planning on just buying aftermarket carpet, since its only like $120 for new carpet plus $15 shipping. People want that much for used and stained factory carpet.
I have seen the fabric dye on seats and carpet, but never liked the way they felt afterwards. I'd invest in real stuff instead of dying it.
The headliner in my car is already a gray color, so no need to change it out or do anything to it.

Paint your carpet and then take some pictures for all of us.
I'm getting tired of the brown carpet in my apt. I think I'll paint it black
