I tried a search but nothing came up specific to my problem.
Terrible knocking felt through pedal/steering wheel.
Only happens when accelerating hard. 3/4 Open Throttle.
Goes away again as soon as I come off the throttle.
Driveshaft cv boots are not worn.
at 60-70mph, car feels like its trying to shake itself to bits.
Never had this problem before.
Has occured around 2 weeks after my driveshaft problem (inadvertently dislocated inner cv Right Hand Side). Everything was done up to honda torq specs.
The knocking does not occur when going right, i have diagnosed this by going round a roundabout many times, at different speeds, accelerating in different gears up to around 50-60mph.
Nothing
Left hand side cv boots all look fine.
Knocking is too violent for wheel balance problem or even tracking.
Fitted Mugen Sports Damper with Tanabe Lowering Springs recently, even though same tanabe springs have been used for years and no ill effect ( so ride hieght problems cannot be to blame i don't think - car is very low)
Have had the mugen dampers on for 2 weeks since the whole driveshaft thing.
Clutch was done about 2-3 months ago by professionals...
Steering is fine.. stays straight...
Cannot feel any play in suspension.
Has anyone got any ideas?!! its really worrying me, and making me just not want to own the car anymore.
its a 4th gen vtec.

if its only happening under hard accelaration, you may want to check the condition of your motor mounts.
I also had a shaking problem recently, it was related to bad inner cv axle. you may want to read the thread and see if your problem sounds similar.

Steve, mate,
thats exactly the same problem as me....
f#cking driveshafts, I thought I just got through with that pantomine.
I will have to swap.
Did you do both sides?
I got a feeling its going to be the right, ( where i had the problems originally)...
Is the left harder to do?
Where can i get driveshafts?
I don't want anything uprated.
I would rather buy from USA than over here in UK and get them shipped over.
Thankyou so much for just taking the time to link me to that....
I've probably damaged the inner cv joint housing or something...
It definately feels like driving with loose wheel nuts.. but I can't tell which side its going to be... I can try what OTT said, jack it up after a run with it knocking and feel the joints/boots.
If anyone can advise me where I can get some axles...
that'd be delicious
thankyou gentlemen.
Laurence

You may want to talk to OTT about rebuilding them. I got the impression he lives near you, so he could possibly help you out.
